At the invitation of Mr. Tsybulsky Aleksander Vitalevich - Governor of Nenets Autonomous Area, on 13th - 14th September 2019, Mr. Phan Ngoc Trung - member of the Board of Directors led Petrovietnam’s working group to attend the 90th anniversary of the founding of Nenets Autonomous Area and the Oil and Gas Day of the Russian Federation. The working group included Rusvietpetro leader, Head of the Group’s Representative Office in Russia and Representative of the Group’s Administration Office.

On 13th September 2019, Fitch Ratings announced the results of rating PVN’s independent credit at BB+; long-term foreign currency issuer default rating (IDR) for the first time at “BB” level with “Positive outlook”. This IDR rating of PVN corresponds to the national credit rating of Vietnam (BB/ Positive outlook).

It has been 44 years since this event, Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group has overcome many difficulties, challenges, continuously developed, contributed to ensuring national energy security and became economic leader in the national construction and development.

At the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Medvedev D.A., Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid an official visit to the Russian Federation from 20th May 2019 to 23rd May 2019. PVN Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Sy Thanh, leaders of Vietsovpetro, Bien Dong POC, PVEP, PVGAS, PVOIL and the Group's Divisions accompanied the Prime Minister on the trip. After the trip to Russia, the Group's leaders had a business trip to the United Kingdom.
