The session was co-chaired by Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and Mr. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori - Minister of Economy of UAE. Attending the session were representatives of relevant ministries, industries and businesses from the two countries.

On behalf of PetroVietnam, Mr. Phan Ngoc Trung - member of the Board of Directors and representatives of the Departments/ Administration Office and units under the Group participated in the activities of the Minister within the framework of the 4th session of the two countries’ Intergovernmental Committee.

At the session, both sides discussed and agreed on important contents to further promote friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in the fields of diplomacy, trade, industry and energy, agriculture, investment, finance, labor, culture, tourism, especially cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

During the time in UAE, member of the Board of Directors Phan Ngoc Trung and PetroVietnam’s delegation attended Business Forum - UAE held in Abu Dhabi capital.

PetroVietnam’s leaders worked with ADNOC’s leaders

There, on behalf of PetroVietnam's leaders, Mr. Phan Ngoc Trung gave a presentation on the overview of the business and production of the Group and its member units, the potential for cooperation and investment. The presentation received attention of many participants including UAE management agencies, businesses and a number of companies/ corporations from the US (Engie), Nigeria (Oando) for the investment environment and opportunities in the field of oil and gas exploration, production and processing in Vietnam.

PetroVietnam's leaders worked with Mubadala Petroleum’s leaders

Besides, PetroVietnam's delegation and representatives of the member units also had working sessions with the Deputy General Directors of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the General Director and Deputy General Director of Mubadala Petroleum at the headquarters of the two leading UAE energy groups to discuss about areas of cooperation and introduce potential investment projects between the two parties, in which there are some oil and gas exploration projects in Vietnam, as well as promote cooperation activities in purchasing and selling LPG, sulfur, crude oil and providing technical services related to oil and gas in the UAE in the near future.
