Petrovietnam works with Zarubezhneft on “Operational Monitoring Center”
At the meeting, Zarubezhneft’s representative introduced in detail the “Operational Monitoring Center” system in the Oil and Gas sector designed, built and operated by Zarubezhneft. Zarubezhneft’s operational monitoring center is connected to most of Zarubezhneft’s oil and gas plants and works (including the oil and gas works at Vietsovpetro and Rusvietoetro, two joint ventures involving Petrovietnam) with information exchange frequency of at least every 2 hours and some data updated in real time.

Introducing “Operational Monitoring Center”
Zarubezhneft’s operational monitoring center currently has 12 specialized monitoring modules such as Integrated exploitation plan, Well drilling and completion, Health Safety and Environment (HSE), Digital Twin, Drilling process control… Through the Operational Monitoring Center, Zarubezhneft can monitor all technical parameters and output of the Group’s oil and gas plants/works, then regulate production, perform prevention and develop incident handling scenarios, increase efficiency of the oil and gas drilling and production activities.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the technological solutions used, the method of connection between the Operational Monitoring Center and the member units, oil and gas plants/works. Petrovietnam also asked Zarubezhneft to continue to coordinate and organize more detailed working sessions on technology, applied solutions, support and transfer plans in the case of construction, deployment and operation of similar operational monitoring center at Petrovietnam.
