The delegation was led by Mr. Alexander Feldman, President & General Director of US-ABC; Ambassador Michael Michalak, Senior Vice President & Regional Executive Director of US-ABC and Mr. Wouter Van Wersch, President & GE General Director of Asia-Pacific Region and Chairman of Vietnam Committee of US-ABC as the leader. Attending the meeting, there were representatives of the US Embassy in Vietnam and representatives of AES, ExxonMobil, General Electric, Apple, IBM, Amazon, Dow Chemical, 3M, Citibank, Cheniere, etc.
On the side of Petrovietnam, Mr. Phan Ngoc Trung, Member of the Board of Directors and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Vice President chairing the meeting, with representatives of professional departments of the Group/ Group Office, representatives of the member units such as PVGAS and PVOil discussed issues being considered by the delegation.

At the meeting, Mr. Alexander Feldman, Mr. Alexander Feldman, President & General Director of US-ABC expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Petrovietnam for taking the time to welcome and work with the delegation during the past years.

On this occasion, Leaders of Petrovietnam informed the delegation of outstanding results in 2018 of Petrovietnam as well as some key projects being implemented and called for investment from domestic and foreign organizations.
General Electric Company (GE) is a partner for many years with Petrovietnam as well as its member companies. GE Group wishes to participate in projects to develop Ca Voi Xanh gas field and a number of liquefied gas (LNG) projects in Vietnam according to the current regulations on bidding and investment, to bring effective and optimal investment solutions in exploitation and sustainable development of gas power plants in Vietnam.
The representative of ExxonMobil also discussed and clarified some information related to projects being implemented by this company in Vietnam. At the same time, he expressed his desire that Petrovietnam will continue to support and help ExxonMobil in implementing these projects on schedule and with high efficiency.

AES Group also wish to sign a memorandum with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to develop Son My coal plant project No. AES recommended that Petrovietnam continues to support and propose to the authorities to implement this project as well as in Son My liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal project which they already signed the MOU with PV GAS .
The leaders of the Group answered the concerns of the US Enterprise delegation and affirmed that Petrovietnam always supports and is willing to cooperate with partners in related fields. On the side of US-ABC, Mr. Alexander Feldman also committed to being ready to be a bridge to help Petrovietnam and its member units submit information and suggestions to the competent agencies of the United States.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties expressed their wish that the cooperation between Petrovietnam and US enterprises will always be sustainable and develop strongly in the future.
