After that, on 9th December 2019, the delegation also had a meeting with Mr. Peter Tichansky, the United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, and a round table dialogue with US businesses such as AES, Tellurian, Metlife, AT&T... in New York City to strengthen investment cooperation in the fields of energy and finance between Vietnam and the United States; especially US$ 1.4 billion project for liquefied petroleum gas (LNG) import warehouse between PetroVietnam Gas Corporation and AES.

The parties highly appreciated the opportunities for cooperation with PetroVietnam to address practical issues and 4.0 industrial integration in order to increase production and business efficiency and minimize environmental impact. The President and CEO suggested that the parties and PVN would concretize the cooperation opportunities in the near future with the goal of mutual benefits; developing/ tightening cooperation relations in many aspects with strategic partners.
