Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) 2019 held in Saint Petersburg is the Symposium to facilitate representatives of government agencies, gas businesses, scientific research institutions and design institutes discussing the gas industry. The main event of this year's SPIGF is the Plenary Meeting with the theme “Strategic priority in international energy partnerships”. Experts exchanged their views on new trends in the gas market, discussed current situation and long-term trend in the development of the gas industry, and introduced new technologies and solutions to creative production.  Within the framework of the Forum, SPIGF also successfully organized an exhibition on the gas field with over 300 booths from exploration, production, transportation, processing, digital technology, commerce and electric gas… from nearly 20 countries. 

Petrovietnam leaders worked with Gazprom leaders

Within the framework of the forum, Chairman Tran Sy Thanh and the delegation of Petrovietnam had a meeting with senior leaders of Gazprom. The leaders of both sides discussed on the promotion of existing cooperation between Gazprom and Petrovietnam and the development of projects in the field of electricity and LNG production, and also discussed the signing of strategic cooperation agreement between Gazprom and Petrovietnam.

Earlier in Moscow, Chairman Tran Sy Thanh and the delegation worked with the leaders of Zarubezhneft and Rosneft. At the meeting with Mr. Sergey Kudriashov, General Director of Zarubezhneft, the two sides exchanged issues related to the operation of Vietsovpetro and discussed future cooperation development directions, especially the cooperation orientation of Vietsovpetro after 2013.
