According to President and CEO Le Manh Hung, Petrovietnam and Honeywell have been cooperating very successfully, especially in the field of oil and gas processing, and many cooperation projects have been implemented at the Group’s subsidiaries such as BSR, Ca Mau GPP, Bien Dong POC… The two sides agreed to continue studying cooperation opportunities in the fields of digital transformation and network security; upgrading and optimizing operation; developing new products, diversifying products along with integrated solutions and adapting to energy transition trends.

Regarding the possibility of cooperation in the field of digital transformation and application of technology in oil and gas activities, especially solutions to supporting data analysis and processing, optimizing to create new opportunities in the field of oil and gas exploration, reducing CO2 emissions and using energy efficiently, creating new business models, President and CEO Le Manh Hung and Mr. Manish Prakash, who is in charge of Government customers, APAC of Microsoft, agreed to establish a joint working group to study cooperation opportunities between the two sides.

At the meeting with BCG, President and CEO Le Manh Hung and Mr. Alan Thompson, Managing Director of Global Energy Consulting, discussed and shared very openly about energy transition trends, environmental emission reduction issues and roadmap to net zero carbon of oil and gas companies around the world and new investment opportunities that are in line with the trend. The two sides discussed the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war and the adjustment of the adaptive energy strategy on governments and the private sector. BCG and Petrovietnam also shared and suggested issues that Petrovietnam needs to assess and adjust in terms of investment allocation, mechanisms and policies, short-term and long-term energy transition strategies… to adapt and develop in line with new trends.
