Dear the Science, Technology and Innovation research and management team of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group,

On the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day (18th May 2022), on behalf of the leaders of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, I would like to send warm greetings and best wishes to the scientists, the Science, Technology and Innovation management, research and development team in the whole Group.

In 2022, after a long time of Covid-19 prevention, the world context has changed a lot and has a significant impact on our country’s economy and the Group’s operations. These include the effects of climate change, energy transition, circular economy development, green economy and the 4.0 revolution with the trend of digital transformation. The growth model based on resources and cheap labor is no longer relevant. It is time for us to renew the growth model based on effective use of resources, science, technology and innovation progress. 

Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, as a leading economic group in the country, has made many important contributions to the development of the country’s economy in the past time and is also facing many difficulties and challenges. In order to help the Group continue to develop sustainably and affirm the brand, science, technology and innovation are given priority in the development, management and administration policy in order to improve labor productivity, production and business efficiency. 

I hope and believe the scientists and managers of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Group in the coming time will focus more resources on disseminating, applying, and transferring advanced technology and knowledge of the world, thereby effectively using resources from the Science and Technology Development Fund to make Science, Technology and Innovation really a lever, new and important driving force for the Group’s growth and development. 

Once again, I cordially send congratulation to all Science, Technology, Innovation management, research and development staffs in the whole Group on the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day. I wish you good health, happiness and success!
