At the meeting, Mr. Shut conveyed Gazprom leader’s congratulation to Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong on the occasion of his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam. He hoped that new Chairman would continue to facilitate promotion of cooperation, especially in ongoing cooperation projects of the two sides.

Vietgazprom reported to the Chairman on the updated implementation of cooperation projects between Petrovietnam and Gazprom in Vietnam with a number of difficulties and problems.

Chairman Hoang Quoc Vuong thanked Gazprom for attention and cooperation in the projects of the two sides in recent years and shared difficulties with Gazprom in the process of project implementation. Mr. Vuong supported and hoped Gazprom to continue its oil and gas exploration activities in Vietnam and emphasized that he would together with PetroVietnam's leaders promote cooperation and accompany Gazprom in the projects of the two sides.
