PV GAS in the first six months of 2016: Achieved profit targets and contributed to the state budget for the entire year.

GD&TĐ - Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), a key unit of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group (Petrovietnam), achieved many important accomplishments in the first six months of 2026. Against the backdrop of ongoing armed conflicts in the Middle East severely impacting the global energy market, according to the audited interim consolidated financial report by Deloitte Vietnam, Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), a key unit of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group ( Petrovietnam ), recorded consolidated revenue exceeding VND 82 trillion, pre-tax profit exceeding VND 11.2 trillion, and after- tax profit exceeding VND 9.0 trillion in the first six months of 2026. This surpassed all six-month targets for all indicators; and met and exceeded the annual targets for profit and state budget contributions. These results reflect PV GAS's ability to sustain growth as well as its crucial role in ensuring national energy security

Mr. Le Manh Cuong, General Director of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Corporation (Petrovietnam), recently met and worked with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang and a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as heads of Vietnamese representative offices in the Middle East and Algeria. The two sides discussed cooperation, investment opportunities, and Petrovietnam's expansion plans in the region.

During a working session between Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc and the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, the General Director of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Corporation (PETROVIETNAM), Le Manh Cuong, provided information on the operational situation and positive contributions of PETROVIETNAM and its member units in the province. He also affirmed the commitment to continue close cooperation, focusing resources on building an industrial and energy ecosystem in the Dung Quat Economic Zone, with the Dung Quat Refinery as the core, aiming towards the formation of a national petrochemical and energy center.
