Ensure that activities, products and services of PVN
and its member units meet the legal requirements and HSE standards;

Provide the resources, systems and processes necessary for
establishing and keeping risk at the lowest possible level in terms of HSE;

Ensure that emergency plans and capabilities are
built and maintained for prompt and effective rescue in emergency cases;

Provide training for the staff on the HSE knowledge appropriate to
the work they undertake;

Periodically review and evaluate the management and
results of HSE implementation for continuous improvement;

To prioritize and encourage the use of energy-saving and environmentally-friendly
technologies in all production and business activities of the Group and its
member units;

Facilitate the exchange among the Group and its
member units with employees, contractors, customers, suppliers and those
relating to HSE improvements.

Across our operations, we require all the employees to be aware of and fully comply with our HSE policies. We recommend that our partners apply their HSE management system in accordance with our principles for the benefit of community and each party as well.
Currently, Research and Development Centre for Petroleum Safety and Environment (CPSE) - a subsidiary of Vietnam Petroleum Institute, member of PetroVietnam is the consultancy unit for HSE application and management system within the Group. CPSE has completed consultant projects on safety guidelines and documentation of effective HSE management system. We have created a complete HSE management systems covering safety regulations and supervision guidelines; guidelines on risk management and emergency response, labor safety and sanitation, technological safety in processing, accident investigation, reporting documentation and HSE auditing.
